The St. Landry Council on Aging is a non-profit organization which operates a broad range of programs under the provision of a state charter that was issued in November of 1972. Acadian On Call
The Council acts in an advocacy capacity on behalf of the elderly of St. Landry Parish. It is the goal of the Council to strengthen and coordinate existing systems of services to the elderly and to foster the development of new systems in order to increase the older person's mobility, independence, security, comfort, well-being and happiness
